As a life long learner, collector of knowledge, and Google fanatic, combined with the recent popularity of the Zettelkasten system, there has been an incredible increase in Personal Knowledge Management apps and I’m ever so excited and grateful for it all.

I’m also a bit overwhelmed by it all because I’m starting to feel like I have been changing my note taking and making systems, and apps around faster than I change my underwear (to be clear, that’s every day).

Jumping from one app to another to see how this one works and that one works is, frankly, exhausting.

Yet, with being introduced to the Zettelkasten, I feel there is something to all of this, an excitement is building with the possibilities that want to come through working with ideas in this way.

A liberation in a sense.

It’s no longer about making a quick note, jotting it down, and thinking that you’ll use it later in some way, only to find it several years later and shrug it off because it got lost in the void of random notes for too long.
