How Your Mind Messes Things Up

In Human Design, the biggest and most important thing it teaches is to “Follow Your Strategy And Authority”.

This is wonderful when you know and understand how it works, where you can really feel what it’s all about.

Yet, there is one big giant problem.

The mind gets in the way of everything.

The mind is actually the problem.

Yet, the mind is a necessary part of our existence and has it’s own brilliant way that it does things.

We have been taught for centuries to use our mind to make decisions, to use our mind to rationalize and think things through.

Sure, there is a time and place for this, but there’s a big kicker with this.

The mind loves stories and loves to tell stories.

It will tell you all kinds of stories. Stories about what other people are doing, what they think about you, what they are thinking about, what they need, what you need, what it thinks is best.

On and on and on it goes.

The chatter never stops.

The worst part is when it gets stuck in story loops that feel like they are impossible to get out of.
